While going through my windmill postcards I looked on the back for info and came across this nice cancel and stamp. Now I have to go through all my postcards, I already saw a few nice Dutch cancel slogans. Will show them when I find them (and learn how to scan etc.

Jopie,

Nice Olympic Cancel !

You will get a better scan if you first click 'preview' and not 'scan'.
having clicked 'preview', scroll the mouse over the bottom left and top right corners to enclose what you want to scan in defined borders.
then click 'Scan' !
Then you won't see the unwanted page or scanner top.

Londonbus1...Good luck !

Nice cancel. What's on the front? You do need to crop the picture :) When I get around to scanning them, I have some 1936 German postcards from those Olympics including one of Jesse Owens. I'll have to post them.

It just about figures that beer would come up in a note to a Lush.
