Catalogue blindness strikes again. SG number please.

Revaluation of Zapata Hill (issued 1959) 6c on 3 peso

Does the overprint refer to the country's currency revaluation
or just to the stamp?

I don't have a StanGib but I can tell you that your revalued issue is from 1975 if that helps. Economics is not my strong suit but, since 1975 brought hyperinflation of 1000%, I believe the answer is that the base stamp value of 3 Pesos was revalued to 6 centavos.
