EZStamp has a license with Scott for the data.. All the images must come from a private source (with permission) or images that are not under copyright law.. Scott does not license the image or price data. When I first became aware of this, I looked into it and became pretty familiar with the licensing methods used. as a software author for many, many, many years... I am aware of laws surrounding the use of images. Now EZStamp doesn't have every image of every stamp, neither does StampManage. So when I find an image that they don['t have, I scan my stamp and send them an image. As long as I own the stamp the image is legal.
SM 55,000+ EZ over 181,700 images
according to each website..
and finally, after personally reviewing and testing each of the software packages, I found ezstamp to have better data, more accurate data plus an easier way to enter stamps..
To avoid sounding like a ringer for EZstamp, I will not say anything more on the subject..
