This is a cover, which I know nothing about, I received from Nuggethill. Could this be someone's autograph? I know I've used pertinent first day covers before for autographs. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello Chequer,

The designer of the stamp was Oswald Adler. Since I can't read well the signature on your cover I only suggest it might be his.
My 10 minutes on google did not reveal any pictures of his with a visible signature so all in all I would take my guess with a grain of salt.

Thanks. That would certainly make sense, as the signature looks to be O. Adler. I'll put this with my other autographs that need to be confirmed.

I'm going to have to go with seahorse on this one.

BTW - this is Sc #188 celebrating the birth centenary of Henrietta Szold a U.S. Jewish Zionist leader and founder of the Hadassah Women's Organization. Note the two-part tab on the cover.

Nice!
