About 25 Years ago I met some Monks from the Gyuto Monastery. After spending most of the evening with them I was asked If I would like to meet the Dali Lama.
I had the Honor of being given a 5min. audience with His Holiness about 25 years ago in New York City. The Man is electric! He gave me a blessing and I can tell you I felt High(for lack of a better term) for days after.

well my parents had visited the dalai when he was in dharamsala many decades ago but I have not had the oppty to meet him and I really can tmake the journey by myself if one of you were visiting I could accompany you :)
