Hi ,It seems the responses are a little slow ,or am I impatient.




I did realize this ,But I think it still be a consideration.
I hope all the quotes are not to confusing.

I did not find your quotes too confusing. I have no problem if anyone wants to re-enter a previous submission. Yes, replies and feedback have been a little slow. However, it does take time to work out an idea. I have not received any entries as of yet. Come on guys and gals, put on your thinking hats and get in an artistic state of mind. Express your philatelic design qualities & support of the STAMP COMMUNITY!

I have an idea, however endowed with all my amazing skills, seems my graphic creation and PC software are lacking...

I will see if I can overcome this, however with my current schedule I may need a month and even then I cant promise anything.

I know you can overcome the obstacles in your way. I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Stamper, I think I have questions as well.

1. Are there guidelines?
2. If there are no guidelines, then how are the designs judged?
3. Who judges the submissions.

I think it's a GREAT idea - but I agree with djd that the second sheet was probably the most appropriate for a SCF cover.

But I guess that gets back to question #1, #2 and #3.

The rules are in the 1st post. I had shown the previous years submissions to give everyone an idea of what others have done. However, hear are the answers your questions:

1.You must use some variation of: Stamp Community Forum, Stamp Community Family, www.stampcommunity.org, SCF, etc. prominently in the design.

2.The designs will be displayed in an online poll for each member to vote for their favorite. There is only 1 vote allowed per member and the designs will be anonymous. Whomever has the most votes at the end of the voting period WINS.

3. The forum members are the judges.

Feel free to read the topic threads and polls from the 2009 issue, I think they are all listed under the CONTESTS, QUIZZES, & GIVEAWAY forum. I had bumped them up about a month ago with an edit. Look for 1st Annual Souvenir Sheet or something like that.

Where were all these supporters of that design last year? I guess whomever designed it could go back to the drawing board and and make a newer version and submit it as an entry this year.

Has anyone been working on their stamp design? I really hope there are lots of entries. I think it was a lot of fun last year.
