Found this in my cover box. I know I got one of these when I ordered postage stamps from the United State Postal Service fulfillment center in the late eighties or early nineties. A bit of a unique item maybe? Maybe not?

One of those items I think needs age to
give it its marque. Drag it out in 50 years
and it will have a wow factor.

Odds are pretty good I will be dead 50 years from now. Not impossible, though. I wonder if I will have any heirs by then.

Philately Smauggie, survives on "paying it forward"
What you enjoy now,
is the result of squirreling in the past.

What you stack away in the attic today,
will give somebody immense joy in the future.
I reckon that's cool.

Yeah, I have a couple of those stashed in the books.

EDIT:
I think I only have one of the ad covers.
The others are actual USPS envelopes with
the hologram stamps...
