This fellow is printing stamps in
North West India.

Using the information given by the artist's impression,
can anyone hazard a guess what stamp he is printing?
(not a trick question)

Bottom row of sheets, middle sheet. You can almost see a basic design. Possibly Tony or HRH Emperor Spock could figure it out.

Northwest India? Not postage stamps, then. Though that is how many of the Classics would have been produced.

you mean uglies? classics are produced that way. HRH had his own seals that ware made that way. A pretty common practice in Rajasthan known as Rajputana during that period.

Dont worry uncle Tony keep your address ready I am going to send you a ugly in October 2010 on my royal envelope except the ugly will be a beauty and that is what I call a classic. :)
