my first ebay question [from a 'buyer']

"Dear jasanmick33,

why do israelis never obey United Nations resolutions?"

------------------------

Now how should I reply to that I wonder.

Just block him. There's no arguing with idiots. There is a time and a place and a stamp auction on ebay is neither.

I can answer about the item in question but whatever I write, I want to click on the question and response button so everyone who looks at the item will know whats going on.
So my response should be rather unconcerned.
Don't you think ?
Or should I take Philb's advice....

Its very tempting to respond and show it on the page, but it will probably be more of a deterrent to the person concerned if you report them officially to ebay. I don't know what the penalties are for this kind of idiot behaviour, but hopefully ebay will take it seriously and act accordingly.
They're looking to provoke you personally. If you don't engage with them on a personal level, you're denying them that satisfaction.

When you walk along the sidewalk and encounter a worm, you have two choices...you can step on it, or you can step over it.

If you step on it, the next day it is a feast of maggots. If you step over it, the next day you can barely see the slime trail it left.

I always recommend stepping over the worm.

My 2d.
