Not really into postcard collecting too much, but thought I'd show this mint one that I acquired only a few years ago from a souvenir shop within a few miles of the subject picture.

What I found interesting was that they (I have one or two others) were stuck behind tons of modern day postcards that were all but put aside in preference to the color photo postcards of today. With a 25 cent pricetag, it was a classic find, especially with those old cars (looks like 1930's era cars, to me.)

Very nice. That is just the kind of vintage card I like when hunting for Route 66 postcards.

The Hoosic tunnel museum at the old N. Adams railroad depot is very interesting.

Been by THAT spot before! Hard to believe that road was once a huge tourist draw. The nearby hairpin curve is a doozy even in a modern car!

Something how these threads keep resurecting...theses a real nice hairpin with a view of several states on Route 23 in the Catskills also !!
