In Your Dreams!

There is a topic in the 'Kiloware' forum titled "We Close our Eyes & Still See Stamps." Well this isn't like that at all, but when I awoke today, I had the distinct impression that I had been dreaming about stamps. It was only an impression because I seldom remember dreams, anymore.

Now I can't imagine why that might happen but it seems to have also happened in the past.

So I'm wondering, if it happens to anyone else, here. When you close your eyes, do you still stamps... in your dreams?

Yes, on occasion I have had a dream about stamps.

I dream that I am working on my stamps on the dining room table when the cat jumps up and starts to swat things around. Funny thing, I don't own a cat.

Now some dream analyst or psychologist could probably find (or lay) some meaning on that.

I do not recall ever having dreamed of stamps.

I have had dreams about stamps as well and usually it's the same theme - finding a lost stash of stamps. Sort of like Raiders of the Lost Art, but with stamps.

I dream about Heidi Doctor Jung..but then something always seems to interfere !!

I daydream of stamps I would like to have, but the night time dreams usually turn into nightmares.

Seriously, to answer Modern_Who's question, I don't exactly dream about stamps, but sometimes after working with them for a couple hours, when I close my eyes, I still "see" stamps in my mind.

I've had some strange dreams about stamps and I think I may have found the correlation! On a day when I've worked with stamps more than I probably should, I will probably have nightmares about the things! In one dream I spilled my glass of water on a big pile of stamps. In another I found a really valuable stamp, and when I tried to grab it was stuck to something. Needless to say I ripped the poor stamp in half. I guess this just tells you I don't have much of a life...
