NOTE: Inclement Weather Practice – If the county schools where your meeting is held are closed, the club meeting for that day will usually be cancelled. Safe road and area weather conditions are the major consideration. However, to be sure with changing weather conditions, check with your club's meeting place to verify its status.

We had a very good meeting with 24 members and 2 guests attending. One person applied to join our club.

During the business meeting there was a report on the new stamps that would be issued over the next few months. Future stamp shows in the area were announced with the next being The Southeast Stamp show in Atlanta which would be held next weekend. The stamp committee reported that he'd received some new stamps. Our Treasurer reported that our bank account looks okay.

A report was given by the Nominating Committee Chairman of there activities.

One of our dealer members setup his stamp stock and several members looked and bought a few things.

Several members had a good time looking through the APS circuit books.

We passed around a 'Get Well' card for one of our members who was ill.

Everyone enjoyed the program on "Specialty Philatelic Societies" given by several club members. Also, those members each brought in copies of the journals from several of the specialized societies for club members to read.

The food was delicious as always.

Our next meeting will be on Monday, January 26th when we'll have Auction Night. Everyone is welcome and you don't have to be a member to bid!!!
