This weekend, I was staying in Tábor, Czechia. In the old town is a chocolates and marzipan museum. On display are a lot of displays made from chocolate and marzipan, primarily of children's television characters and some iconic Czech(oslavak) objects. After a few such displays, the novelty wears off.

Considering the admittance for an adult is ca. € 12, I would suggest to walk on and use the money to have a couple (you might get a few litres for that amount) of local beers instead. If you are visiting with children, you may not want to miss it.

The most impressive display is of a train made of chocolate. I suppose the maintenance of the displays and the cost of the chocolate and marzipan make it expensive.

One of the displays is that of two old invoices with Austrian revenue stamps (Stempelmarke, ca. 1910) attached.

When I was little, I'd hang around while my mother made the Christmas cake, hoping for chunks of surplus marzipan. Now, due to increased sophistication, it's just too sweet for me. I'd still nibble bits of the chocolate train though.

Loco's probably made out of Barry Callebaut's finest Belgian chocolate, but it's mechanically insane.

World's largest chocolate train's done in Barry's stuff. Anyway, I realised what it's supposed to be, an American Shay-type loco.
