I've read on various sites that the SuperSafe brand of Stamp Lift Fluid can be used to detect watermarks. According to what I've read, it sort of acts the same as the SuperSafe or Clarity watermark detection fluid. Anyone out there try using the SuperSafe Stamp Lift to detect watermarks? I know many recommend Ronsinol light fluid but am really hesitant to go that route if I don't have to. And Clarity and other fulds designed specifically for watermarks are way, way beyond ridiculous for what they charge for it.

Personally, I wouldn't use it off label. You have to ask why Super Safe would make two distinct products if one would do it all.

I used Super Safe watermark fluid for a long time but finally tired of the price increases and went back to lighter fluid. Have never had a problem with either one.

I have a bottle of the SuperSafe watermark fluid and it is nasty smelling. I have not noticed the Stamp Lift fluid as very good at waternarks.
