Sg869c - Double Print Or Colour Shift?

Good evening all. A little expertise needed if possible. Came across this pair of SG869c from the 1977-86 definitive series. Is it SG869ca, which is the double print, or simply a colour shift of the grey? Probably the latter, but worth a question.

Any opinions welcomed.

There's a double print? Not listed in the unitrade or Trajan catalogues. They do list several other varieties including
#792 iii - queens goatee ,
792 iv - paleface queen
792v - crying queen
792 vi - comet tag flaw
792 T1 - untagged

Thanks for the replies gents. Thought it was just a colour shift. My 2001 SG catalogue lists a double print as SG869ca, although my 1991 edition of Unitrade does not list any varieties under catalogue number 792.
As an aside, are the later editions of Unitrade equipped with more images of the various listed varieties? My copy seems quite sparse in that regard.

The 25-26 Unitrade images shows the same varieties similar to 791
the 791i and 792iii are a darker area/spot under/in front of the chin
The 791ii and 792v is a dark (black?)spot/dot directly under the eye and about 1/3 up from the bottom of the nose
No image of paleface in either catalogue. Those 3 minor varieties are listed MNH at $5.00 cdn ea.

35 years! Yea, they changed a lot. Fatened up a lot with all the new issues, changes and additions. The Unitrade is now two volumes. Classics 1851-1952. Elizibethan 1953-2025. And now we also have the Trajan Canada Specialized. It is only one volume in a 3 column format, and the editor is Robin Harris who was the former Unitrade editor.

I know mine is ancient #128513; but there seems to be hardly any Unitrade for sale on this side of the pond! Is the Trajan catalogue also illustrated with regard to varieties?

This is a color shift. These stamps were printed on rolls of gummed paper. The first color was the grey face and some shading around the head. Then the paper keeps moving and the next cylinder prints the blue color (supposedly at exactly the right spot) around the head. The paper will continue to receive the (invisible) tagging then the black lettering you can see on the stamp. When things start to slowly get off the track, you get a shift in one or more colors. That's the fun of collecting. You sometimes get something worth showing. If you look carefully you will see where the blue should have been printed. Sometimes the shift is up, down, to the right or to the left. Look at a million of this stamp and you can get a sample of each shift. It can make for a nice collateral display
There is no chance of getting double print with this type of continuous paper (called web).
