Greece Famous People July 29, 2025 Mikis Theodorakis (1925-2021) was a Greek composer of the 20th century classic music. His well known work includes scores for the films Zorba the Greek (1964), Z (1969), Serpico (1973) and The Ballad of Mauthausen (1965).
Romania Famous People August 24, 2023 Ciprian Porumbescu (1853-1883) was a Romanian composer. His popular works include Crai nou, Song of the Tricolour, Song for Spring, Ballad for violin and piano, and Serenada.
Death Bicentenary of W. A. Mozart (1756-1791), designed by Pavel Sivko, engraved by Bohumil Sneider and issued by Czechoslovakia on February 4, 1991. The stamp shows the Mozart portrait and the Estates Theatre, Prague, in which Mozart personally conducted performances there.
