Hi,

Here are two examples for that Re-entry in addition to M. Trimble's one.

Which you can see here:

https://re-entries.greenefoundation...t_medallions

On these, you can see more features in NT of cents and also a line in the white spot right to the T. These are hidden by a black wavy line on Re-entris.com

Very nice! I always read your valuable contributions to philately, even if I don't always comment.

Are the red dots in the top margin of the first example random, or is it plate damage?

The dots of excess ink at top may not be constant. They could be stray ink that was missed when the plate was wiped before printing. If other examples showing these marks at top turn up it could also be plate pitting. Just a couple of possible explanations for those marks.

Hi,

pjr, browsing Threads without posting is completely fine.

The top marks on the first stamp are likely random features, as Watermark noted.

For the Re-entry, this 1937 issue used 23 plates, and the second stamp is clearly postmarked in 1937, we can narrow down the Re-entry to the very first plates used.

Hi,

See a new one found for this stamp. Upper left corner and left crown. The doubling in the crown is very nice.

Left the Re-entry and right normal stamp.

Hi,

Second like the previous Re-Entry. Looks like the same position.
