Is anybody else having issues with StampWorld or is it only me?  I am not receiving email notifications and I cannot message clients, No all images have disappered... Regards Dennis

I have just received a long email from the Head of Operations at Stampworld. He admits that they are having issues due to attempting to upgrade the website. He is pleading for patience while they do so... |

Hi Rob Roy Just checked. You are right, the country is missing. It was there about 3 weeks ago - I sold a number of Burma stamps to a client.
As of this morning (10th June), the StampWorld messaging system is still not functional and no images are being displayed.
I am a seller on StampWorld and have been for the past 10 years but I am considering moving all my StampWorld offerings to my Hipstamp store.

At least Myanmar is working now; maybe the messaging is working as well?

Received a general memo from the Head of Operations admitting that they are having issues. As of this morning (12 June), The website is up here in Europe, but images not being displayed and messaging is not full functional. The memo mentioned some issues related to a language setting of "US"?

OK, images are back and some of the messaging issues have been resolved. Now getting '429 Too many requests' message when attempting to access the catalogue. Trying to send a message to Stampworld support but fails with 'Internal Server Error' message... Getting there but 'too little, to late'.... |

For all intents and purposes it can be assumed that Stampworld is no longer viable as a trading platform. Any suggestions for alternatives?
I am already on Hipstamp but StampWorld was 'easier' to trade on - less hassle to load items... |

Hi Rob Not really. If you try to use it you get a 'Too many requests' error. Right now, I am getting '502 Bad Gateway' messages at login time.
I have accelerated my move to another platform. Stampworld's issues have destroyed my income, service delivery and reputation! Dennis |

Hi Rob After many attempts, I managed to login and yes, you are correct - the catalogue now appears to be working but messaging still has a few problems.
What needs to be considered is for how long is Stampworld going to remain stable, and can it be trusted? I think trust is broken :-(
