Bechyne Rainbow Bridge

Bechyne Rainbow Bridge is over the Lužnice river in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. The reinforced concrete arch bridge was completed in 1928 and is a combined bridge for road and rail traffic.

This bridge has already been depicted on a postage stamp. Bohemia and Moravia (German-occupied territory of Czechoslovakia), 1940

80 Years of UNESCO - 10 World Heritage Sites in Occitanie

The stamp depicts Pont du Gard, a Roman aqueduct bridge built in the first century AD. It crosses the river Gardon near the town of Vers-Pont-du-Gard in southern France. It is one of the best preserved Roman aqueduct bridges.

Saldae Aqueduct Bridge

The stamp features Saldae aqueduct bridge built around 137 AD for water transportation. It connected the natural springs of modern-day Toudja to the Roman port city of Saldae.
