Perhaps I should explain why this 87 mile railroad thru Marin County and half of Somona County is included in my Redwood Empire accumulation.
Mostly because from the 3rd-7th grade (American Valley in Valley Ford, 8th grade at Harmony Union in Occidental thru High School at Tomales Joint Union in Tomales was along side the remains of this railroad. Also, redwoods grow in that part of Sonoma County.
