Not a post office but, since people sometimes ask for directions to stamp shops, a stamp shop in Hannover. Nothing beats some real German food, even when you are a vegetarian. I had found a Bavarian inn (Paulaner am Thielenplatz) close to my hotel. Coming out of the main station in Hannover, on the town centre side, turn left. The Thielenplatz is about 300 metres from the station. The street between the Ernst-August-Platz and the Thielenplatz running parallel to the railways is called Joachimstraße. On the righthand side of this street, just before reaching the Thielenplatz is this stamp and coin shop.
