The minisheet and stamps feature the Hungarian zither and the Chinese guzheng.

The 500 Syrian pounds banknote depicts a scene inspired by ancient Ugarit, illustrating musicians performing with lyres based on archaeological evidence from the Late Bronze Age (ca. 1400 BCE). In front of them appears a clay tablet representing the famous Hurrian Hymn, discovered at Ras Shamra and considered the oldest known example of written musical notation. The scene is a modern artistic reconstruction intended to evoke the musical culture of ancient Ugarit.
