Hi, the irregularity in the upper frame - is it a known printing flaw or rather a later damage? I don't have the stamp in person, just the picture. Tanks in advance

My first guess is damage, BUT I would welcome a close up of the area to confirm.

There are two irregularities.

1. The big white patch above E. Is it a transient flaw caused by something stuck to the plate or later damage? Since you don't own the stamp, you can't tell.

2. The small break in the top frame near the right corner. Is it a plate flaw or later damage? Since you don't own the stamp, you can't tell.

If it's being offered for sale as a rarity, you could ask the seller for a closer scan. But if the asking price is a euro or two, it might be worth taking a chance.

(N.B. I have no idea how the NPC perfin might affect the value.)
