I'm looking for the complete 2026 U.S. Flag Forever double-sided booklet of 20 printed by Banknote Corporation of America—the BCA/B1111 booklet variety. I purchased a booklet from an ebay stamp dealer, but some characteristics look different from the BCA booklet stamp shown in another established dealer's complete set of the six 2026 Flag varieties. I'm not yet concluding that it is counterfeit because I do not have a booklet obtained directly from USPS (always got an APU) for a reliable side-by-side comparison. Has anyone received the BCA booklet directly from USPS.com or purchased one at a post office? Does USPS Stamp Fulfillment Services honor requests for the BCA/B1111 printing? Are any reputable dealers offering booklets with documented USPS provenance? Would anyone be willing to share high-resolution front, back, plate-number, die-cut and UV-tagging images of a confirmed USPS-sourced copy? Any leads or comparison images would be greatly appreciated.

Call the USPS philatelic folks and ask if such orders are honored.
However, realize once something leaves the post office, your word that it is good because you bought from the USPS, is worthless given the infiltration of counterfeits. Same is true for dealers. |

eligies - is 686002 the generic number for a 2026 flag booklet or specific for the BCA version? Since there is only one plate number (B1111) for the BCA version, that is all he needs. |

Quote: He is looking for one for his collection. Yes, but he did complain about finding counterfeits on the market. My point was with all his work to obtain one, once in his hands, only he will trust what it is. My real point is counterfeiting is killing any reason to collect current materiel. |

@rogdcam Thank you for the Bardo Stamps link. That appears to guarantee the BCA booklet, although at a considerable premium over face value. I'll keep it as an option if I cannot obtain one directly from USPS.
@eyeonwall Exactly. I'm looking for one for my own collection and as a reference copy. I'm not trying to establish provenance for resale or prove its authenticity to anyone else.
@eligies Thank you. Just to clarify, is 686002 a separate Stamp Fulfillment ordering number? The USPS Postal Bulletin lists item 686000 for the 2026 booklet, with both the APU and BCA printings sharing that number. I understand that Stamp Fulfillment cannot guarantee which plate number will be supplied.
@Parcelpostguy I understand your concern, but I collect for my own enjoyment. I don't care whether other people believe the stamps in my collection are genuine or counterfeit. If I obtain the booklet directly from USPS and know for myself that it is genuine, that is enough for me. I'm simply trying to obtain a BCA booklet for my collection and to use as my own reference copy. |

I agree with it but just wanted to be clear when WE try to sell the modern material being counterfeited, it is WE who will suffer the issue. I see a day where a solid specialized collection with have genuine as well as all the counterfeit varieties together. At one time the stamp producers and then the BEP had good security presses not owned by others. Today China has the same presses our stamp producers use. Engraved stamps are the hardest to convincingly counterfeit, but one needs only look to the US currency changes made since the BEP stopped making stamps. Security needs are now far beyond just good engraving. Now Canada take some major counterfeiting prevention on their high face postage. I wonder if that is helping to or preventing counterfeits. |

Offset presses have been in the hands of private printers in the US and abroad for many years. What has changed is the internet and the use of computers in the plate production process. The USPS puts out advance publicity images, the cheats grab the images and have the counterfeits ready virtually in the first day of issue. |

And how long will it be before China starts flooding the world with good fake dollars and euros? That is the really scary part. |

Well actually that is the reason for all the changing techniques at the BEP, it was not due to boredom of printing the same designs. But yes it is and has been an evolving game. |
