Good morning, one from yesterday and five for today.

Glenblair, as hard as this RPPC was to find (and apparently still is) I am surprised I missed it! I have a bad history with postcards from this town. Won my first one in a Randy Stehle La Posta auction around Dec of 1999, put it my pigeon-holed shelf and have never seen it again!

Today we have Ukiah,

Willits & San Fran. RPO,

Willits, on a RPPC of the Ir(win)Mu(ir)l(umber)co Irmulco mill

Willits,

anf Ferndale's centennial.

I collect most of California's Redwood Empire , Humboldt & Mendocino counties, including the RPOs that ran through them. Any town or city I mention is located in one or the other.
My primary sources are
California Town Postmarks 1850 - 1935 compiled by John H. Williams & the Western Cover Society
Mobil Post Office Society RPO Catalog, MPOS U. S. Route and Station Agent Catalog, and the MPOS RPO Directory and AGT Directory
California Postmaster Compensation compiled by Alan H. Patera
