Update on my '47 BB-- our local show this month, and I also went to the Knoxville show a week later. Always can fill some of my holes at a show, so I've increased the number to 32,909 from 32,721 in just over a month, and now have gone over the 94% threshold.

Hey Nicholas, I went thru some old loose pages, and haven't been able to look at everything yet. I don't think I tossed the U.S. pages and if I find them, I'd be happy to send you the page you need. I'll let you know... Ray

@landoquakes, thanks for the image. That clears up the Hunting Permit stamps and Confederate States. And you said the back side of the right hand page is blank, marking the end of the U.S. section.

Now that you have also shown the prior page which has revenues, it looks like I'm still missing all the pages before that back to whatever is the end the pages I actually have. I'm not sure my pages are in order, but I believe the last page of what I have are the Officials.

Somewhere I thought I saw that there is a Parcel Post and Special Handling page that follows the Officials. If so, that might be the start of the section of pages that I am missing.

The reason I'm looking for these is to get a proper checklist for the 1947 edition. And now I'm also going to be looking to fill the U.S. pages that I didn't know I was missing.

@ray.mac, you can see from my previous post that I appear to me missing several pages at the end of the section. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated!

Congrats on clearing 94%

That is a great find, especially with the vintage country flags and coat of arms! I inherited Volume 1 from my father in law, since he only collected US stamps. Then I felt encouraged to buy the next nine volumes. I got lucky at a stamp show and won five volumes for $10 each! The rest I purchased through ebay for between $30-$50 each. The first ten volumes roughly cover the time period 1840-1975, which is the majority of my collection. There were approximately 500 stamps in each album; definitely a great investment! Now, I am just focusing on fillers for sets.
