And there seems to be a lot of "splitting hairs" about what some of the rules actually say and mean. Plus calling further discussion "a waste of time" is also to me, incorrect. Further discussion keeps the problem on the front burner, which helps the possibility of it not happening again. The fact that everyone is powerless to change anything also shows a fundamental weakness in the whole process. It enables this kind of sham to occur, and it will again unless something is done to make it much more difficult. I would love to know exactly why no one thought it prudent to speak up about this at the time, but that is never going to happen.
