Information Needed On Canada Scott 34 With No Perferations On 2 Sides

Does anyone have information on why this stamp is not perforated on 2 sides? I don't see any evidence of being trimmed and as far as I can tell, it should be perforated on all 4 sides.

That is rather interesting. If I could venture a guess 1. corner stamp?
2. Top row imperf pair?

Are there any signs or can the back of the stamp give us any information?

Thanks for the reply! Here is the image of the reversed side. In my research, I have found perforated sheets and imperforate blocks of 4 and pairs. I have found perforated pairs that are imperforate in between the pair, imperforate singles. but none that match this configuration.

No evidence of being trimmed but if it was, why trim only 2 sides and on such a small stamp? Any other thoughts on what might be going on with this Canada Scott 34 stamp will be appreciated.

When you listed the image of the back of the stamp, I can see in several spots on the top and side, small indentations where the perforation was.

My thoughts are this stamp has been trimmed on 2 sides. Why? Who knows.

The perforating on that issue were sometimes poorly done, resulting in either tiny or massive margins, even on the same sheet. Chances are the perfs were clipped.
