Found the date for you...In the middle of the paddle wheel on the "Beaver" ship

Wert: way to go - you bumped up a great thread.

That's what I'm here for...

Thanks wert for finding the missing date.
You certainly have an eagle eye.

Your welcome lithograving....Don't know a lot about stamps (yet), but, yes, I have a eye for details.

This is one of my favourite threads in the Canadian section. Given the time of year it deserves to be bumped for the excellent display of Christmas stamps.

I have restored all my missing images.

''Canadian 'Hidden Date' Stamps,'' by J. J. Johnston

What is the first Canadian stamp with a hidden date?

The answer to that question would be 1935.

So much fun, like some others I had no idea of hidden dates. Grabbed the few Canada that was in the collection and had a blast finding the dates. All were already shown, but I think one of these two are not duplicates (I hope). Sorry for the blurry full view...just could not get it right. Also, please forgive as I am new and have not had access to the identifier books - library copy checked out.... waiting, so no listing for the Scott #
