Hi Guys
Take a look at my "Queen Elizabeth" 12cent P.E.I. stamp.

The top left corner has a faded affect.

Here is the Archive Canada stamp on the left for comparison.

Now to see it a little better I used my software to input a yellow ingredient to see the oddity a little better.

Any thoughts..??

In my experience Violet is very susceptible to Light damage.
Generally turns to blue, but sometimes, disappears altogether.
(See Cyprus) Your choice.

In Wert's example it looks just like that corner of the stamp was covered by something

I was thinking that maybe 3/4 of the stamp was covered and the faded corner was exposed. That seems more reasonable to me.
