One of the favorites in my primates stamp collection is the stamp of Ring-tailed lemurs, designed and engraved by Pierre Gandon and issued by Madagascar on September 20, 1954. "View of Pressburg (Bratislava)", engraving by Matthaus Merian Sr. (1593-1650) was the only work that depicted the territory of present day Slovakia, that Merian included in his impressive historical-geographical book titled "Archontologia cosmica", published in Frankfurt in 1638. This engraving is shown on a huge SS (13x17 cm), engraved by Rudolf Ciganik and issued by Slovakia on October 18, 2021:
