Hello, I have enjoyed reading this forum; these stamps are fascinating. I am writing a book on WRR (Dallas). Does anyone have a WRR stamp? I would love to include a photo of the stamp in the book (with full credit to you, of course).
Thank you. Kristi |

Hi Kristi, You're welcome to whatever images I might have of WRR. Since you are a new member, I'm not sure how I can email them to you? Maybe the administrators can forward them to you? Or, if lower resolution is ok, you can just grab them from here. Jim |

Having (apparently) started this topic way back when, I am impressed with the response even to this month. btw, I have yet to expand on my EKKO stamp collection of 2. It seems that life got in the way.

Hi Jim, I just saw your reply. Thank you! I emailed the admins with my email to pass along to you. I hope they will. If not, I will find another way.
Thank you, Kristi |

Hey everyone! I just bought a collection of what I thought were all QSL cards from the 1930's, but there turned out to be 120 or so radio verification cards mixed in. A couple them have EKKO stamps on them and have gone through the mail, and there's also the Earle Anthony KFI with "KECA" stamped on it for his other station. I also have an example of the "You found us!" Sioux City one Jim posted on the previous page, and a card with a foxed Canadian EKKO stamp affixed to it that was not postmarked. A lot of the verification cards are just handwritten or typewritten. In doing some research it seems like a lot of people did radio DX'ing, but the verification cards are surprisingly hard to find compared to regular amateur QSL cards. Will send pictures soon, but in the meantime, what kind of value might the KFI/KECA postcard and the other postcard have, and is there any value to the regular handwritten verification cards? Thanks in advance! |

Here's my CKOC. This one is not postmarked. Sadly, the EKKO stamp is a little dirty. |
