That 1974 stamp is hysterical. LOVE the bellbottoms - so hip, man.

Here's another pretty set of wildlife conservation stamps I found in my exploration of my collection (these forum topics are great for discovering just what my grandfather gave me).

These are from 1971. Scott #s 1427-1430.

I seem to have a thing for wildlife conservation in particular. Here is a pretty set of owls from 1978 (Scott #s 1760-1763).

"THINK GREEN! A NEW WAY OF LIFE. WE CAN DO IT!

THINK OF SOMETHING you can do to conserve and preserve our planet, like not letting the water run while you brush your teeth.
Doing laundry in cold water.
Hanging clothes outside to dry.
Use cloth grocery bags instead of the plastic ones.
Use water from your faucet instead of the plastic bottles -unless you have to.
Use CFL lightbulbs.(Be sure to read what to do if one gets broken--they contain mercury!)

And remember to
RECYCLE, recycle, recycle whenever possible!

THANKS!
Gussyboy1

Wonderful stamp there, Triggersmob! I had forgotten about walking places when possible. I bet Emma would love the yellow duckie -save water one! My 8 year old granddaughter said it was "a cutsie"!ha

Thanks for sharing some of your Colorful Aussie stamps here!

I have here the 1961 Scott #1176 Range Conservation. I have this one and the Forest and Water conservation stamps as well. If any one would happen to have a spare Soil Conservation stamp I would be interested in speaking to you about a possible trade or purchase.
