Postal Etiquettes or Postal Labels are (as far as I know) labels supplied by a post office to indicate the special way that the piece of mail with such a label attached is to treated. Airmail, Registration, Parcel Post and others. These can also be considered Ciderellas. Here are a couple I received recently (Jan 2011) from Great Britain (Royal Mail). Airmail and Small Packets: I am not sure if a customs declaration form in the form of a label is considered a postal label (well, it is a label) or not, strictly speaking. On the same package as those above: And, I know it's not a postal label, but I like it, a return address label in the colours of eBay (neat but hard to read!): Some links to start you off: Airmail Etiquettes by Riga Stamps http://www.cinderellas.info/columns...t/index.htmlThe Postal Label Study Group http://www.postal-label-study-group...duction.htmlAnd for those who like addressing envelopes and such with an artistic flair: Artistic Addressing (and Etiquette) http://www.artisticaddressing.com/Etiquette.htmI've got some more but not many. Anyone else have any?

Yes, I should look for that pic Rod posted.
Rod, by the way, did you ever get that envelope I mailed to your old address with etiquettes? |

Yes I take my hat off to you Michael, you have some really beautiful junk.
I remember on another forum, when I discovered you, I thought Wow! another person who likes the junky stuff. It was hard to believe. But sadly however, for really bad junk, I pip you at the post :) I thought I was the only one to collect printed glassine but again, I am wrong.
BTW Your first image is not showing.

I don't recall where I stashed the package! It's undoubtedly around somewhere, I'll find the shovel and flashlight and will start digging. Ryan |

Quote:Oh my, Rod - I recall winning an eBay auction of etiquette kiloware on your behalf this summer. Yes..didn't you feel the pins Ryan Look, I knew you wouldn't have done it on purpose, and they may have been lost in the mail, and I have been guilty of the same thing in the past. It's human. As nerdy as stamp collecting is, I reckon it can be fast paced when one is trading, lots of things to remember, things to do. They are only little bits of paper after all Quote: I'll find the shovel and flashlight and will start digging.

Nice contribution Puzz, I think (02-12) indicates the release date (dec 2002) so they have been in service a while.
