The APS just came out with two fantastic free printable stamp books on Hollywood, entitled "Hooray for Hollywood." The stamps featured are all United States and can be found on the APS's homepage.

(I don't think I am allowed to post a link yet, since I don't have enough posts. Maybe someone else could do that if they think it's relevant.)

Just so you know, Curly Joe DeRita (sic?) one of the later Stooges, real last name was Wardell, same as mine. Don't know if he was related, but I can dream.

Being a fan of the Blues, we can't forget the master of the 12 string the great Huddie "Leadbelly" Ledbetter.
Here is the only known live performance from very late in his life

Death Letter Blues! Many of the early blue singers weren't recognized Charlie Patton, Skip James and the legendary Blind Lemon Jefferson. It don't get much better than that.
Edit for those who have not had the pleasure of Blind Lemon Jefferson

Marlene Dietrich was in Judgement at Nuremburg??? Wouldn't have guessed that! I know she was heavy into helping the Allies during the war, though.
