The Armstrong Whitworth Siskin was a British biplane single-seat fighter aircraft of the 1920s produced by Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft. The Siskin was one of the first new Royal Air Force fighters to enter service after the First World War. It was noted for its aerobatic qualities. Here is an image of a stamp depicting a Siskin 3A, designed by Anthony "Tony" Theobald, printed by photogravure (Courvoisier S.A.), and issued by Jersey (Great Britain) on October 30, 1975 as one of a set of four stamps commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Jersey branch of the RAF Association, Scott No. 133, plus a photo of a Siskin in flight.

Canadian War Savings stamp 1940-41. I don't know what kind of plane these pilots are standing in front of. Perhaps some of our aviation experts can say.
