Denmark issued this stamp ) on June 16, 1988 to commemorate "the final of the World Championships in individual speedway at Vojens Speedway Center" (Facit).

On August 28, 1975 the DDR issued its annual Leipzig Fall Fair set of two stamps. The 25 pf stamp (Mi #2077) of this set depicts a Motorenwerke Zschopau/Zschopau Engine Factory, MZ TS 250 motorcycle.

From wikipedia, On December 12, 2008 the MZ factory in Zschopau closed, halting motorcycle production that had lasted 88 years in the same town."

On June 7, 1997 Latvia issued a set of four "Youth Activities" stamps. The 12 santims value (Sc #447) of the set, shown here, depicts a young person on an off-road motorcycle, or dirt bike.

A similar stamp from West Germany - Berlin (1983)and one from Cuba (1985) suggest that the unknown motorcycle is a Mars cycle.

On January 15, 1986 New Zealand issued a set of five, 25c stamps commemorating the centenary of New Zealand police. One of the stamps (SG #1387) features a police motorcycle.
