We may never see a stamp set again with this island's name on them.

Very nice indeed. It is part of a multiple year set of stamps also in S/S.

I'll try to share the ones I have on here when I get home.

Thanks for all the beautiful island stamps posted.
Sorry I have not answered earlier.
Our online provider let us down. They had to rewire
to get us back up and running again.
Nearly 4 weeks to fix the problem.
That is what we get for being a bit isolated.

Australia Post has just released a sheet of 20 stamps with
all different fish and coral on them for Cocos (Keeling) Islands.
Stunning! Hopefully will get a copy to post soon.

Nice to be back. KGV

Tinus_NL - Thanks. Here is an image of an "electrifying" island stamp issued by Iceland to commemorate 50 years of nationwide telegraph service. This stamp was designed by S. Jónsson, engraved and printed by Thomas De La Rue & Co., Ltd., and issued by Iceland on September 29, 1956, Scott No. 297, Facit No. 345.
