Just picked up something slightly outside my collecting interest as it does not mention an Italian make.... but it was too interesting to pass up!! 1949 cover, letter and race map of the 1949 Mille Miglia (thousand mile) race! Interesting bit of history....

Since 1996 I have collected postal items in the following topic…
"Any philatelic material that depicts a motorcycle, or part thereof, or name of manufacturer that is recognisable as being of ITALIAN ORIGIN."
In this topic I collect: Stamps, mint and used, FDC, maximum Cards, miniature-souvenir sheets, booklets, postal stationery, cancellations, metermarks, proofs, errors, postally used covers, advertising covers and cards, postally used postcards and any other philatelic items.
Some invoices have got into the collection but only if they have revenue stamps on them.
It's a long shot but can anyone fill any gaps? One I have not yet found is Linto.....
I can be contacted at *** Private information removed by Staff. Please do not post your address/email/phone number etc. ***
Photo is the latest addition "Augusta" from the 1930s....

I have 108 makes in collection as of 16/04/2021.

Cover franked with a complete motorcycle stamps issued by Laos on February 25, 1985 to commemorate centenary of the motorcycle invention. They were posted in high resolution in pages 8 and 25 of this thread.

It is a philatelic cover, not really posted only cancelled in Vientiane airport Wattay. Face value of all stamps is 21.5 Kip, while in year 2010, airletter to Israel was about 20,000 Kip and 30,000 Kip for registered letter.
