How about stamps from various countries that show Egyptian themes, such as the pyramids, mummies, art, etc...

Egypt has been dealt with before,
a simple search on SCF would have you here:

What is this with me... I search the topical threads, then find out someone added the exact same topic outside the topical section.... I give up... I really do...

Other than Egyptian stamps, the only other one that comes to mind at the moment is this German stamp...

That's Nefertiti,
In my opinion, one of the most beautiful women of all time.

Lovely, I agree. But won't the age gap pose a bit of a problem?

I hadn't considered that,
I was working on an explanation for her funny hat.

Or if you prefer an older beauty.....

The Venus of Willendorf, also known as the Woman of Willendorf, is an 11 cm (4.3 in) high statuette of a female figure estimated to have been made between 24,000 and 22,000 BCE.

The Mona Lisa doesn't do it for me,
Nefertiti is a classic beauty that transcends 3000 years.
A beautiful face and a neck that goes on forever.
(The German stamp does not show this)
She takes her place alongside Lauren Bacall and Greer Garson
Charlotte Gainsburg and Catherine Deneuve.
Of course I could include Edith Piaf, if she was singing me to sleep :)
