This pictorial cancel shows the lighthouse on Hailuoto Island, Finland. Hailuoto Island is off the west coast in the Gulf of Bothnia. Oulo is on the mainland facing the island.

Heard Island is largely ice-covered, bleak and mountainous and is dominated by a large massif (Big Ben) and by an active volcano (Mawson Peak). The stamp set features Southern Elephant Seals, Kerguelen Cabbage lichen, King Penguins at Atlas Cove, and Baudissin Glacier.

From my home island of Guernsey, off the coast of France, but politically British. Almost 15km along its longest axis, and home to nearly 60,000 people.

UPU Centenary set included this stamp showing the profile of the island:

Inari, Finland is in northern Lapland Province, within the Arctic Circle. This Inari village cancel depicts Ukonsaari Island. According to the Sami Museum of Finland, "Ukonsaari Island is the best known sacred site of the Samis (native Lapland people) in Finland. It is located about 11 kilometers to the northeast of the village of Inari on an open part of Lake Inari called Ukonselka."
