I found out last night that Bandicoot likes lighthouses. Today I dug through some stamps I had buried upstairs, because I remembered seeing a set a while ago.
I found these..

Can anyone give us a year (90's I think) and CV on them. Thanks
They are MNH.

Steve

Trigg, those are from 1990 S#2470-74. I don't have a current Scott catalouge but In Mystic Stamp Cataloge they are being sold for $14.95 mint.

While we are looking at light houses here are some from New Zealand.
There is a web site for them as I had to look them up because I was not sure they were postage stamps.

Many thanks Steve for the stamps and all your help.
Some times I'm not sure if I should be thanking you or not
Any way here are some Aussie L/houses.
Who has lighthouses to share?

Steve & Cim...The Scott CV for a mint NH booklet pane
of 5 is $6.50 US. Mystic prices are always higher
as their catalog is a retail selling price listing, not
a value reference catalog like Scotts.

Bandicoot...Thanks for posting that link. I had always
wondered why those Insurance stamps were issued in the
first place. Thanks again...

If this old coots memory is correct, I believe the US issued
a series of lighthouses, last year.

Very nice lighthouses Bandicoot. Mike thanks for the info. Seeing as how I don't have or see getting a set of scott cataloges in the near future(due to finances) I use the Mystic as more of a reference to get scott numbers and such.

Cimmaron...Go to your local library, they should have the most recent catalogs in their reference section
