Just scanned before repair,
showing the majestic 5 masted sailing ship, the "Copenhagen"

See it on postcard here:

This ship has an eerie story too, James
she disappeared between Buenos Aires and Australia 1928

What amazes me she only had a crew of 15
and 45 "cadets" aged down to 16yo
Not the scenario you want in an emergency, I would think

The 1911 and 1925 on postcard.

I also have the 1904, but simply cannot find it at the moment.

Lovely stuff, Johan, and expensive no doubt.
Not seen the 1925 before.

Its a shame clerks hardly ever struck Christmas seals, one wonders if they have been added afterwards.

Thank You Don,

They fortunatly were not expensive(2 euros each), just a case of keeping an eye out for them.

I agree, it is a shame that they were not struck, but that is the case in 90%.

The condition of the seal in relation to the postcard is often a good indicator.
If it looks to fresh compared to the postcard, you can have your doubts. But you can never be sure.

Johan,
I have the 1915 seal in duplication, if you need it. Free.

Thank you for the kind offer Rod.

I want to limit my collection to postcards, covers etc.

I will keep an eye out for Jul material that I come across, to help you fill the gaps in your collection. No promises, but you never know.
