This January 24, 1976 special cancel of Leonberg, Germany bears the inscription "Leonberger dog breeding".

From wikipedia, "The Leonberger is a giant dog breed whose name derives from the city in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. According to legend, the Leonberger was ostensibly bred as a "symbolic dog" that would mimic the lion in the town coat of arms. It is in the Working Group for dog shows such as Crufts, but not in the World Dog Show."
