Geez, I do dogs as a topic and I just went through and counted. I've got 78 pages of dog stamps, averaging between 6-10 stamps per page, plus close to 200 more dog stamps left to print pages for an mount.

More Newfoundland dogs: On postage due stamps designed by French artist Georges Gimel (1898-1962), engraved by Abel Mignon (1861-1936), printed by typography, and issued for use in Saint Pierre & Miquelon on December 5, 1932, Scott Nos. J21 & J22, SG Nos. D21 & D22.

Child at play with his dog, designed by Hungarian graphic artist János Kass (1927-2010), printed by lithogravure, and issued by Hungary on February 26, 1979 to publicize the International Year of the Child (logo in upper left corner), Scott No. 2566.

I don't have many post-1960 stamps but found this one (1972-73 Bhutan Scott#149L Cocker Spaniel)

1. Didnt know Rowlf of the Muppets has his own stamp. nice!
2. Didnt know there are so many Newfoundlands-on-stamps.

3. I like to collect dogs on covers too, here's Australia 2010 set on
adopted dogs

Collie, printed by lithogravure, and issued by East Germany (DDR) on August 17, 1976 as one of a set of six dogs stamps, Scott No. 1751.
