Young Postman series of definitives from Thailand, issued between 2007 and 2011:  Showing the young postman delivering post around town, across water and in rural areas. Young Postman 4 is getting to grips with postal logistics, and Young Postman 5 is "Yummy Post", a food delivery service. |

El Chasqui, a personal messenger of Inca, engraved and printed by Waterlow & Sons, and issued by Peru in December 1936, Scott No. 360, SG No. 588. Note in the detail below that the courier is playing a pan flute, presumably to announce his arrival at a checkpoint on his postal route. Interesting frame design, too. - nethryk  |
