A great and a very attractive set of 21 stamps shows the Soviet Union's ethnic groups with their traditional costumes and professions was issued by the USSR on July 1, 1933. Here is the first group of 10 stamps:

Kazakh People from Kazakhstan:

Lezgin People, Northeast Caucasian ethnic group native predominantly to southern Dagestan, Russia and northeastern Azerbaijan:

Tatar People from Volga-Ural region of Russia:

Jewish People from the Jewish Autonomous of Birobidzhan:

Tungusic peoples, native to Siberia and Northeast Asia:

Buryatian People from south-central region of Siberia along the eastern shore of Lake Baikal:

Chechen People from Chechnya Republic in the North Caucasus:

Abkhaz People from Abkhazia, in the Caucasus:

Georgian People from Georgia:

Nenet People from Nenets Autonomous Okrug in northern Russia:
