This 1968 semi-postal set was issued for various welfare charities. The stamps portray various 19th Century dolls.

Design : Heinz Schillinger (1929 -) Heinz and Hella Schillinger husband and wife designed dozens of German stamps over the years some individually and some as a design team.
The design of Brazilian stamps in the seventies was quite different and distinct compared to other countries as were these by Jo Olivero. The offset printing by Casa da Moeda do Brasil (Brazil Mint) was very top quality.
Wayang golek are Sundanese (West Java) wooden doll puppets noted for their versatility, expressiveness and aptitude for imitating human dance. Wooden dolls, designed by Czech artist Karel Svolinský (1896-1986, engraved by Ladislav Jirka, and issued by Czechoslovakia on September 2, 1963 as one of six stamps in a UNESCO folk art set, Scott No. 1196.
