Kasperl is a traditional and popular puppet character from Austria, German-speaking Switzerland and Germany whose roots date back to the 17th century. Here is an image of a stamp depicting Kasperl, designed by Austrian artists Elisabeth Pirker and Peter Widmann, printed by photogravure, and issued by Austria on April 11, 2003 to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Kasperl und Pezi children's television show, Scott No. 1914, plus a link to a short YouTube clip from the TV show.
