How about a look in Scott (Belgium: Parcel Post and railway stamps)? Regular issues of 1912-1913 overprinted in violet . |

I don't have the COB catalogue but someone here does...maybe by bumping this it'll bring it back to the top and it will get noticed.
The index to the World Forgeries Catalogue says that the 1929 officials have been forged. I tried a little Googling with that bit of specific info, to no avail. |

thanks BUJUTSU, I am not finding anything about the forgeries ,Scott catalog states forgeries exist but no identification as to how to sort the difference .I will try to contact the APS Library ,but will post some of my ideas because most pre-1940 collectors most likely have a few of them .

So far I got color differences and the second stamp shows a smaller wheel ,the third and fourth has the tips of the feathers group together as the real stamp shows the top right wing feather sticks out away from the other feathers .Since this overprint was used over a extended period of time and used on different designs of stamps ,im not sure if other dies where used. But there are a few different forgeries done .Will continue it tomorrow . |

The site I referenced above cites Billig's Forgeries Handbook 40 as the source of information for the 1929 Forgeries.
Might give you a starting point with APS. |

Thanks floortrader. Had you not shown the varieties of the different overprints, I don't think I would have known them.
